This week Primary Five have been learning about the properties of 3D shapes. They have been able to identify the faces, vertices and edges in a range of 3D shapes.
The best part of the week was creating our own 3D shape models using cocktail sticks and marshmallows. We soon realised that you need a very strong base to ensure your shape stays upright. Lots of practical learning in Primary 5!
