Yesterday was a very busy day in school. In the morning we had a special visitor, the big man himself, Santa Claus! He told all the girls and boys in P1 that they were on the nice list, which got a big cheer, and then he gave everyone a lovely selection box. I've never seen the children so shy! Then, after break, we had some more special visitors to our classroom. Lots of family came to play with their children doing lots of different Christmas activities. I think that some of the adults might even have had more fun than the children! The day was finished off beautifully with our school carol service and I am very proud of the children for their beautiful singing of Away in a Manger. I'm sure they are all more than ready now for their Christmas break and a well-deserved rest.
