A Busy Week in Nursery
We have been developing our outdoor area and this week the boys and girls had the chance to explore the different areas. They loved digging and raking in the new sand pit. The mud kitchen hosted lots of tea parties. Artists were at their work at the outdoor easel using lots of different paints. The water wall proved to be very popular. Some boys and girls made a course with different pipes and tubes to roll a ball down it. There was also climbing and balancing on the wooden frames. On Thursday we had special visitors to Nursery. Two little ladybirds came to see us. They were in a special house. We loved seeing them up close and watching them move about. We used our observation skills to colour in our own ladybird. We watched a short film to find out facts about this insect. The favourite one we found out is that a ladybird’s spots get lighter with age! We have been busy boys and girls!
