Active Learning in P4!🌟
With the Spring sunshine, came the opportunity for P4 to work on their outdoor skipping skills in anticipation of their fundraising Skip-A-Thon for Trocaire. They certainly skipped their Daily Mile today!
In class, it has been all about practical maths like telling the time, 3d shape, area and even tessellation. Lots more addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in the days and weeks to come with World Maths Day next week and computerised assessment too. Keep revising at home P4 and logging on to Mathletics.
Literacy was all about ‘Questioning’ in comprehension work alongside extended sentences and weekly phonics activities.
During WAU, the children continued with their crafting of minibeasts and STEM work on ‘Bug Hotels’.
The children had early Easter confessions with Fr Mc Grady and Fr Neeson yesterday. Lots to look forward to in the lead up to First Holy Commuunion as they learn new prayers, responses and all about the parts of the mass. A very busy class. Well done P4!🌟
