As part of our WAU topic “A Walk On The Wild Side” children have started preparing their African animal art.
The first thing we did was to paint our background page by blending three colours together.
The children then decided if they were going to make a lion, a giraffe or an elephant head. We used stencils to draw the outlines onto cereal boxes before cutting them out and painting them.
Once the paint dries we will finish decorating them using African style art.
