In what was a very busy GAA day in school, we were delighted to get the opportunity to welcome Niamh Mallon to our school to celebrate her magnificent achievement of recently being presented with a Camogie All Star award. We are so lucky to have such positive past pupil role models within the community of Portaferry and it is always very special to welcome them back to our school. Niamh took time out of her very busy schedule to visit our school and she took time with every class and every pupil. Thank you Niamh and once again congratulations on your wonderful achievement. You truly deserve every recognition for your continuing hard work and dedication to your sport. You are a fantastic role model and ambassador for Portaferry and we are always delighted to see you back at your old school.
