This morning, Mrs Dorrian and our Primary 7 class delivered a special interactive whole school Assembly around Anti Bullying and in particular the theme of "Reach Out." As part of this Assembly the pupils watched a special Seaseme Street video around the theme of difference and acceptance. In their class groups each class was asked to identify the key messages of the video and when we came back together we discussed, as a whole school, the different characters in the video and how they bahaved. We all agreed that that it was great to be unique and how we can all reach out to help everyone in our school to be happy. To finish our Assembly our Primary 7 class wrote a poem around this theme;
Respect everyine in Saint Mary's
Everyone is unique and different
Always look out for others
Care for everyone in our school
Have fun with each other
Our school does not like bullies
Use your voice to be heard
Talk to people who will listen.
We all agreed to try to follow this message to help make our school an even happier place for everyone.
