As part of Anti Bullying week we held a special whole school assembly today at which Mr Gilchrist emphasised the need for everyone to continue to be kind and helpful towards each other, especially at school. We discussed various ways in which we could continue to show acts of kindness towards each other. Mr Gilchrist also emphasised the need to tell an adult in the school, a parent or another trusted adult if someone is causing you to feel upset or hurt.
Also at today’s assembly we presented prizes to the winning class Anti-Bullying week home poster competition. This was a very difficult decision and the chosen winners were; Isla (P1), Bradan (P2), Cain (P3), James (P4), Cody (P5), Emmet (P6) and Patricia P7). However, there were 3 overall winners and their posters will be displayed throughout the school. These winners were; Olly (P2), Brogan (P4) and Cormac (P6). Well done to everyone who produced and helped in making a poster.
