It’s part of our world around us topic, ‘Victorians’, we have been learning about the invention of electricity. Electricity is one of many things we use today that was invented in the Victorian period.
Today we created our own circuits using lightbulbs, batteries, buzzers and motors. We then conducted an investigation to see which materials conduct electricity. We learned that materials that allow electricity to flow through them are called conductors and those that do not are called insulators.
