Monday's Brilliant Bakers
Again, you have risen to the 'Bake' challenge. Cassie (P5), Luis(P3) and their baby sister Rebecca have been busy making cupcakes. Well done to all of you, they look yummy. Aoibhinn (P2) and her Mum have had a 'Mini-Masterchef' day and really enjoyed baking, fruit, fudge and kinder scones. They look scrumptious Aoibhinn! Cain (P6) and Niamh (P4) have been busy baking pizzas with their pizza making kit. 'They kneaded and rolled out the dough, smothered it in pasta sauce and layered them up with mozzarella, ham and pepperoni before putting them in the oven. They went down a treat', said their Mum. We have also taken up the Baking Challenge in the O'Neill house and recently Katie, Aine and myself baked a gigantic pavlova for everyone to share. The girls thoroughly enjoyed making it. It's lovely to see so many families keeping busy with lots of wonderful skills. Over the past while, we have had so many lovely comments from parents about all of the challenges and how the school website is really helping 'everyone to feel connected as a community'. Thank you all for all that you do especially during these uncertain times and we look forward to seeing many more 'Brilliant Bakers' tomorrow to help keep us all smiling and learning in so many ways.
