Busy Bees in Primary 1!
13th Mar 2020
We have had so much fun this week learning all about bees, as part of our topic on Spring and minibeasts. We know that bees make honeycomb in hexagon shaped cells. We used 6 sided hexagons to make patterns with different materials.
As art of literacy, we used our sound knowledge to write sentences about bees and how legs, wings and body parts they have.
We discovered how to draw a bee in different stages and have used these in our display.
Look at the pictures of our 'bee'autiful masterpieces :-)
