We were delighted to welcome Catherine and Hannah from Portaferry Pharmacy to talk to our Primary 1/2/3 pupils about the importance of taking care in the sun. Through the story of ‘Percy Piglet’ they were reminded about the importance of drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated, about wearing sun cream, putting on a hat and staying in the shade where possible during peak sun times. It is an important message for all to be aware of, especially during this period of good weather.
