Look at all of our caterpillar learning. We have been researching caterpillars, and monitoring progress. We observe and document their growth using the iPad, and we are making lots of caterpillar crafts.
Day Four: We researched the lifecycle of a butterfly and we even tried to act out the lifecycle. The children loved researching all about butterflies, and are keen to explore more about them. We watched Timelapse videos of the lifecycle, and used the models to describe what we could see.
Day Six: We used our handprints to make lovely caterpillar art. We also made caterpillars with play dough. We loved reading ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and we were able to retell the story using sequencing pictures.
