Christmas Arts and Crafts in Primary 7
In primary seven we have been busy developing our artistic skills in the lead up to Christmas. P7 have been learning about how we can use various textures, paints and materials to create Christmas themed art work and decorations.
We took inspiration from Van Gogh’s, ‘starry night’, and used layers of paint, to create swirls in the night sky. We then used black card to cut out a silhouette of the Portaferry skyline at Christmas.
We also had fun making Pom poms and beards for our Christmas gonks. We used white wool and a fork to create Pom poms for their hats and created our own cardboard templates to make the beards. Well done P7, we’re so impressed with the final pieces! 👨🏻🎨🧑🏻🎨
