Computerised Assessment Aids!

In preparation for PTE (Progress Tests in English) and PTM (Progress Tests in Maths) computerised assessment and for your own guidance and child’s learning throughout their school years, you can access some fantastic websites and ‘study helpers’ to help your child’s skills in Literacy and Numeracy. These websites have been continually included throughout the year in the various Newsletters. Most are free and some have a substantial amount of free elements which cover all year groups and levels throughout most and sometimes beyond the primary school years. Information booklets are also included in the list.

• https://uk.ixl.com (an excellent website covering Reception – Year 13 for Literacy and Numeracy – daily free questions)
• Pre-printed information at the back of school homework diaries and our St. Mary’s ‘Helping your child with Mental Maths’ booklet’ for each Key Stage.
