Thank you to all who turned out for our Curriculum Meetings yesterday in school. It was great to see so many attend and I hope you all left with the same feeling of excitement and looking forward to the year ahead as much as we are.
During his presentation to all parents, Mr Gilchrist emphasised the importance of 'partnership' and how the school wants to be more actively engaged as well as to listen to and work in greater partnership with our schooling community. As parents, we value and respect your thoughts and opinions and we want you to feel an important part of your child's learning journey. We are better together and collectively we can enhance and maximise the potential for all of our pupils.
Communication is a key contributor to this and we ask that you continue to provide the school with the necessary information about your child, including telling the school promptly about any concerns, or any significant needs or home circumstances. We appreciate our role within this and we promise to be more effective in this regard going forward.
