Dragons in the Hills Project 🦎
This week, Ryan from the ‘Dragons in the Hills’ project visited primary seven to introduce himself and kick off our conservation project.
This year we will be working with ‘Dragons in the hills’ to learn about our local, natural habitat and how we are a part of it. We will be helping Ryan to survey amphibians and reptiles in our area. We were surprised to learn that there is a reptile species, ‘the common lizzard’ that lives in Ireland- we hope that we can find some!
This week we learned how to identify and classify lots of different insects using a classification key. We really enjoyed the session and can’t wait to get searching for lizards!
