On Wednesday in Primary 7 we had the first of a series of visits from Ryan from ‘Dragons on the Hill.’ During his first visit Ryan taught us all about the different classifications of animals. We really enjoyed learning about the vertebrate and invertebrate groups of animals and all about which are native to Ireland. We were surprised to learn that there is a native lizard in Ireland and that there have been a lot of sights of them in the Ards peninsula area. We look forward to working with Ryan over the next few months and on his next visit we will be learning more about reptiles and amphibians.
