Earth Day in Nursery
We decided to spend even more time outside today to save electricity. We turned off the lights and took lots of activities to our outdoor play area. In our water tray, we had different types of bottles for filling and pouring. There was compost and pots in the tuff tray so we made compost castles. Our minibeast puppets had lots of fun in the sun. We always love climbing and balancing on the outdoor equipment. In our grass area, we had the waffles and we always make great creations with these. There was a table set up with chalk and blackboards. We used some of the compost for chocolate pies at the mud kitchen. There was lots of busy work being done at the tool bench. All the happy faces in the photos say that Earth Day was lots of fun. We love being outdoors in Nursery and saving energy is very important too!
