Earth Day in P4
P4 really enjoy learning about our world whether it is in the classroom, outdoors in our outdoor learning spaces or at home for home learning activities. They enjoyed researching ‘Earth Day’ on the interactive whiteboard and searching for minibeasts in our school gardens and allotments for our WAU topic. They also love to learn about planting all sorts of seeds including wildflower seeds to encourage the bees and butterflies to help our ecosystems and learning about reducing, reusing and recycling through junk art projects. It won’t be long until they take part in their P4 ’30 Days Wild Challenge’ where they will take part in a daily challenge to explore the world around them, enjoy nature and its wonderful benefits to their wellbeing. We are so grateful and lucky to live in such a lovely part of the world where we can really appreciate nature at its best.
