As we celebrated Green Day in school today the boys in our Specialist Provision decided to help to make our local area a little greener by collecting litter on the Windmill Hill. They were amazed when they filled two big bags by just walking up and down one side of the Windmill Hill. The boys noted that it was mainly single use plastic bottles and tins in their bags and they queried why people would throw these away in the grass when they can be recycled so easily?..... They made a good point. We hope to continue to do this throughout the term to try to make a real difference in our local area.
