P2 were involved in a science experiment today and saw their volcano from ‘Dinosaur small world’ erupt. We thought it was a dormant volcano but it turned out to be very active! We used baking powder, vinegar and food colouring to create the eruption and it was an awesome sight as you can see from the pictures. Wonderful language evolved from the experiment and it was a great learning tool for our Explanation writing on volcanoes! We were also treated to wonderful stories yesterday read by Dara’s mum during afternoon story time. Thank you so much from P2!
