EXPRESS YOURSELF WEDNESDAY
Thank you once again to those who continue to send me pictures of your child expressing themself or engaging in their favourite activity. Unfortunately the weather is not being too kind again today and allowing all to get out and about but I am glad to see it is not stopping some of you.
First up today is Belle (P2)in her outfit for the day, her favourite onesie and while wearing this she is doing her favourite activity ever, cuddling her pet cat Precious. Liam (P1) is expressing his love for wearing his zip ups back to front. A great new fashion statement Liam.
Aoibhinn (P3) has been busy over the last few days. She has been brushing up on her hurley skills and she is sure that some day she will be better than her daddy and her big brothers! Aoibhinn has also been enjoying baking with her mummy. They both tell me that this is their favourite activity and usually they get a lot of help from their nanny and they can’t wait to get back to baking with her, hopefully, very soon. Today Aoibhinn is dressed up as her favourite character for Express yourself Wednesday.... 🧙♂️
Sophia (P5) wanted to do her irish dancing and camogie too. She says she loves how free dancing makes her feel and loves competing in competitions which brings out her competitive side. With her camogie she says she loves the fact that it is a team sport and has made some really good friends through Portaferry GAC and they all have so much fun together. She loves the skills she learns and how she can replicate them on the pitch during matches. Both sports she says enables her to learn lots of new things which she loves. She says that she can just be herself in both activities but in very different ways. Sophia’s sister Olivia (P1) says she really loves her irish dancing and misses her dancing friends, all of whom are also her p1 friends. She also said she loves her camogie and smashing the ball really hard with her camogie stick. She can't wait to get back to both again very soon.
Aoibhe (P6) got in touch last night to tell me all about trying her hand at glass painting on a wet, cold day yesterday. That is very impressive Aoibhe.
Ronan (P6) loves to play football, that's what makes him happy. It also keeps him active. Ronan also loves playing fifa on the xbox ,when he cant get out and wants to speak to his friends. His little brother Léo had fun dressing up with him too.
Finally for now, Braden (P3) got in touch to say how much he loves playing football which is his favourite thing in the whole world. Today he is playing inside because of the weather but hoping to get to the football field tomorrow. I hope so too Braden.
Thank you for these and continue to send any pictures to pgilchrist570@c2kni.net and I will add a few more to the website later this afternoon.
