On Monday, we had some very special visitors to Nursery! Firefighters Gray and McCarthy came to see us and they brought their big fire engine! We were so excited to see it up close. They showed us the different equipment that they keep inside the fire engine and what they are used for. We got to go up inside the fire engine. It was high up, but we loved it! The next part of their visit was possibly the best bit! We got to use the big hose! The water came out really fast! We had to try and knock down a cone with the water. It was great fun! The firefighters were very impressed with the boys and girls and how much they knew about their job. As they drove off they put on the lights and sirens for us to hear! Thank you so much to Firefighters Gray and McCarthy for giving up their time to come and see us. We really enjoyed the visit.
