Today our Primary, One, Two, Three and Four classes took part in the ‘Santa Daily Mile’. The children really enjoyed the experience and had the opportunity to wear something festive. Everyone enjoyed the experience and we look forward to more active travel events as we commence our exciting new ‘Active Travel Initiative’ in conjunction with Sustrans.
Research indicates that children who walk to school or are more physically active have an improved academic performance and wellbeing. As a school, we are excited about the implementation of this new scheme and incorporating more opportunities for the Daily Mile in our daily routine.
