Anyone for a chocolate chip cookie? Lucie (P6) has been very busy and she assures me that they taste great!
It’s been another busy day and thank you, to the many of you, who have sent in your pictures this week. It is great to see everyone and hear about what you have all been up to. Evan (P5) tells me that he has been doing his daily mile and he’s even been designing his own spin class for mum and dad to do. He says that he would have only given his mum a 7 out of 10 for her doing it but that his dad still has to complete it! Come on dad!! He also tells me that his school lessons are being completed and he is learning a few domestic lessons too! Next week his mum is hoping he gets to learn how to use the washing machine so that can be ticked off his list. Good luck with that Evan.
The Hannon household have been very busy too. They have been doing rainbow experiments, making an Easter scene from toilet roll holders and learning about the Easter story. They even built their own pizza shop and are working out prices and learning about money.
Niamh (P4) has been practicing her cursive handwriting, writing stories, doing her New Wave English and Maths and focusing on capital letters and identifying articles on ixl.
Kian (P6) has been working hard on his spellings, fractions and volumes/weight this week and has completed his 2nd practice paper at home getting his highest score to date! Both Kian and Niamh decided to do a small project each week and this week they were researching World War 2. They found out who was involved, where it happened, what it was like living through it, when it happened and why it happened. They even found out about a young girl called Anne Frank who kept a diary during the War.
Ruairi (P2) has been planting seeds and we look forward to seeing more pictures of the seeds as they grow.
I hope and trust everyone is well and keep sending in your pictures.
