Congratulations to Jude (P1), Connaire (P2), Evie (P3), Hollie (P4), Leah (P5), Kobi (P6) and Evan (P7) who are this week's Pupils of the Week. Also at Assembly today we celebrated together with Aodhan and Eoin in Primary 3 who have moved into the Ripples 3 group in swimming and with the Portaferry Town Boys soccer teams who won their weekend matches with Eoin (P3) and Tyler (P4) both scoring Hat Trick's for their respective teams. We also celebrated with the Under 8 camogie team who won their match last weekend. Birthday wishes were given to Rebecca (P3) and Kellin (P1).
We presented our Student Council badges to this year's elected Student Council. They have held two meetings and Mrs Fowler is very impressed with the ideas they have generated so far to help make our school an even better place. We look forward to putting some of these ideas into action.
Finally today we held the last of our 'Math's Week' puzzle draw. We would like to thank everyone who assisted their child in solving these puzzles at home. We appreciate that there would have been many debates and discussions regarding working out some of the answers! However, we hope you all enjoyed them.
