Friday Celebrations - 28th October 2022

28th Oct 2022

It was an assembly but not as we know it! There were many strange characters present in fancy costumes and some painted faces. However, we proceeded with our Assembly as best we could!
We presented our Pupil of the week certificates to Maol (P1), Dara (P2), Tom (P3), Meabh (P4), Ruairi (P5), Ava (P6) and Orna (P7). Well done to you all.

We celebrated with Caoimhe (P3) and Olivia (P3) who gained certificates in gymnastics; Belle (P4), Aoibhinn (P5), Brooke (P5) all gained Irish dancing medals and trophies last weekend and we wished all of our dancers who are dancing in the Ulster championship next week good luck; Portaferry Town Boys U10 won their football match last weekend; Abbie (P7) and Aine (P7) both had clear rounds at horse jumping.

Finally, it was great to see some of our past pupils return to our school as part of their work experience. We were delighted to welcome Drew, Padraig, Ciara, Beth and Clodagh who were with us all week. We thank them for the help they provided all week and wish them the very best in their future studies.

We hope to see many of you at our Halloween movie, 'Casper' this evening in our school hall. If you are unable to make it then, may you all enjoy your half term holiday and we look forward to welcoming all back to school on Monday 7th November.
