Today at assembly we presented P4 with their First Communion Enrolment certificates. We ask God to bless them as they prepare for this beautiful Sacrament in May.
Mrs O’Neill talked to us about World Maths day which we will participate in next Wednesday. She was also really impressed with the number of children who have gained certificates in Mathletics during the last week… keep up this great work everyone!
In P4 Hollie got player of the week for judo and camogie! Jacob and Jesse both won their matches for Portavogie Youth Soccer team and Conall and Tyler won their Under 8s match for Portaferry GAC. Once again we congratulated the Co. Down Indoor Hurling champions who travelled to Co Derry this week to take part in the Ulster Indoor Finals. Although they didn’t win the title, we are all extremely proud of the boys and how they conducted themselves. Lastly Katie in P1 got her orange belt in Judo.

A big happy birthday to Oscar from P6 and Evan and Lee in Primary 7.
Finally we gave pupils of the week to Olivia in P1, Jacob in P2, Lucas in P4, Caragh in P5, Isla in P6 and Chris in P7. P3 were not at assembly as they had a very important morning in the chapel. Watch out to see a post for our special boys and girls.
