Today, our Primary 7 class held a special assembly to celebrate green day. First up we had Aoibhe, Cassie, Caitlin, Eva Marie and Lily performed a ‘step about’ dance. This was followed by a retelling of, ‘The Children of Lir’. Accompanying the story was a PowerPoint with lots of lovely P7 art work, depicting scenes from the tale.
Following our story, we had four special solo performances from our Irish dancers and finally they all came together to dance a version of ‘The Waves of Tory’. Well done to all the Primary sevens who created, organised and presented the assembly together. It was great to see so many of our individual talents coming together for St. Patrick’s day.
