How to make the perfect sentence
21st Sep 2021
In class the Primary 4’s were learning all about sentence structure and used the recipe for cupcakes to highlight how many things come together to form the perfect sentence. The flour represented our punctuation of capital letters and full stops, sugar the writing on the line and good handwriting, eggs for ensuring our sentences make sense and butter to encourage us to use connective words to give our sentences greater meaning. All of these add together to help form the perfect sentence as well as the perfect cupcake. The boys and girls enjoyed this activity and definitely enjoyed the buns we made as there was not a crumb left!
