Yesterday our P6 class visited Portaferry library. The theme of the visit was Harry Potter.
Some children dressed up as Harry Potter while others brought their favourite Harry Potter blankets or toys.
The children discussed the Harry Potter books with the librarian and how the author created such an imaginative world.
They listened to an extract, read by the librarian, from The Philosopher’s Stone and then another from an audio book.
The children were given time at the end of the session to explore the library and read some books of their choice.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit and look forward to their next!
