Over the past few weeks, our young learners have embarked on an enchanting journey through the wonders of Spring. In our Special Provision class, the children delighted in exploring the fascinating world of lifecycles, with a particular focus on caterpillars.
Our classroom transformed into a buzzing hub of excitement as we welcomed five wriggly little creatures into our care. The children showed immense dedication by observing and nurturing the caterpillars, carefully noting the changes they went through each day. Their curiosity knew no bounds as they eagerly participated in various lessons all around our new classroom guest. The magic truly unfolded as the children researched and studied lifecycles, learning not only about caterpillars but also about the broader marvels of nature. They dived deep into stories, art projects, and scientific explorations, discovering how these tiny creatures would eventually become beautiful butterflies.
We documented every step of this incredible learning experience and are thrilled to share it with you. Our captivating video captures the children’s observations, discoveries, and newfound understanding of lifecycles. It is a testament to their hard work, curiosity, and growth over the past weeks.
We invite you to watch this delightful video with your children and share in the wonder and joy they experienced. We hope it inspires further exploration and appreciation of the natural world.
