We made a pizza oven using a cardboard box. In addition, the children used paint, cardboard and paper to make pizzas for the oven. They were able to create pizzas and role played making them in the oven. This type of role play is excellent for social skills work and language development, as well as creativity and problem solving. By acting out these real-life situations, the children can gain a better understanding of the world around them.
