Our P3-P7 pupils are about to embark on their ‘Marvellous Mathletics’ journey for 2024/25. Very soon, teachers will issue individual usernames and password cards which include a QR code to access the program. They may also set Mathletics homework tasks as and when needed in the future. Pupils can access the newly updated Mathletics program in school and at home with parental support and supervision. Mathletics contains an array of Maths activities, challenges, quests, games, videos and workbooks which cover the Northern Ireland Maths curriculum in a fun, interactive, progressive way. The children can earn online certificates by earning 1000 points per week from Sunday to Sunday. Parents, you will play a vital role by encouraging your child to log on at home and by working through tasks together to help sharpen necessary skills. Details of how to access Mathletics are below and a parent pack will also be sent home with your child. The school pays for the Mathletics program and the sustainability of it will be dependent on uptake. Last year, access to Mathletics at home was amazing and we hope that this continues this year. The school also donates to the UNICEF charity as part of the Mathletics package.
