Marvellous May!πΈπ¦πβοΈ
As well as preparing for First Holy Communion, P4 have been learning about how important Mary is in our prayers, our school and in our parish. Today the children enjoyed some quiet reflection at the grotto as they thanked Mary in the lead up to their special sacrament on Saturday. The boys and girls are so looking forward to celebrating together and have learned all their prayers, responses and hymns as well as producing some beautiful artwork in class.
For WAU this week, it has been all about ‘Bug and Minibeast Hunts’ with comprehension work on this topic too.
Mathletics work at home and in school has been top notch with so many in P4 gaining more bronze, silver and gold certificates. Mathletics has also really helped with revision of many Maths and Numeracy topics for upcoming assessments.
More dance medals and trophies came to P4 this week too.
Reading continues as always in class with ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ being voted the No.1 book for the boys this week.
Keep up the fantastic work P4 and we all look forward to a beautiful day on Saturday.
