Our P3, P4, P5 and P6 classes are invited to take part in ‘World Maths Day’ on 26th March. Our Foundation classes will take part in lots of practical and outdoor maths that week too. Our P7 class will be exempt from this as they are focusing on so many other priorities especially those for Confirmation in March.
In preparation for ‘World Maths Day’, your P3, P4, P5 or P6 child will take home paper copies of the letter for ‘Parents & Caregivers’ and ‘Top Tips’ attached to this post. We continue to encourage you as parents to log into Mathletics with your child in the lead up to the big day. Logging in a few times a week will help support and challenge their Numeracy development helping their problem-solving and resilience capabilities. There are many areas to explore from tasks to challenges, Live Maths, Rainforest Maths and Multiverse as well as hundreds of support booklets which can be downloaded and printed out at home for use with primary aged children and even up to GCSE Maths topic levels!
