Well done to the following children from P3-P7 who worked so hard at home and in school recently to gain their bronze and silver Mathletics certificates. A very special mention to our P3 pupils who are new to the program and have achieved their first certificates in record time. Mathletics has won many awards for being a wonderful resource in helping to develop, assess and consolidate Numeracy skills. All areas of the NI Numeracy curriculum are covered in a fun, interactive way. We continue to encourage all our P3-P7 pupils to log on to Mathletics a few times a week at home and in school.
Our annual ‘Maths Week’ will take place in school from 14th-18th October. Parents and pupils can find lots of details about Maths Week Ireland at www.mathsweek.ie We will also be posting our eagerly awaited, popular daily family puzzles. We look forward to lots of Problem Solving, 'Maths Talk', practical Maths, Maths games, outdoor Maths and Mathletics both in school and at home during that week. There will be even more certificates and prizes too. Watch this space!
