Maths Week - Puzzle 3 Winnersπ
Congratulations to Lilah and Kobi who were the winners of our Maths Week - Puzzle 3 competition.π
We are delighted at the response so far and with only one more puzzle to go, we hope that as families you will all continue to help support the learning journey of your children. The enthusiasm in school has been so evident with lots of indoor and outdoor Problem Solving. Everyone at home is realising that Maths is not just about numbers but also about being able to read and work out the steps for worded problems, measuring, telling the time, handling data as well as shape and spatial awareness. We hope you continue to provide these experiences for your children at home using the support systems on www.familymathstoolkit.org as well as those in the ‘Home Learning/Links’ part of our school website and through Mathletics.
The KS1 puzzle for tonight is ‘Crossword Activity’. It is one digit per square for the crossword puzzle. For KS2, it is ‘Tangrams’ tonight. Talk about all the shapes, identify them, count them, discuss how many edges and vertices for each shape too. Good luck everyone.ππ
