There have been lots of maths activities going on in Nursery this week! We have been learning new counting songs for Halloween. We love jigsaw puzzles and have had great fun trying out new ones. We have been building towers with different materials and tried to make them as tall as possible! We look at a different shape each month. Last month we looked at the circle and this month we have been looking at the triangle. We used both these shapes to make some great pictures! We also went on a Triangle Treasure Hunt and found lots of different triangular objects around nursery. We are also getting ready for Halloween and the boys and girls were given the task of painting their own spooky spider. They counted the legs very carefully to make sure they had the right amount! We have lots of little mathematicians in the making in Nursery!
