Maths Week in P7
16th Oct 2024
Today in P7 the children looked at codes and used their reasoning and problem solving skills to decipher them.
They looked at Caesar Cipher - this is one of the earliest known and simplest ciphers. It is named after Julius
Caesar who used it with a shift of three to protect messages of military significance (ask the children to explain shift of three).
The children decoded messages, wrote their own and then challenged classmates to solve them.
