Monday 8th June - Sock in the Bucket Challenge
It really appears that many of you are enjoying the Sock in the Bucket challenge. Sophia (P4) and Olivia (Nursery) had a blast doing today's challenge and both their competitive sides came through in bucket loads. Sophia managed to get 18 and Olivia 7. Carli (P4) got 5 in her bucket and Lily-May (P5) managed to get 14 pairs of socks in her bucket! Orna (P4) got 8 in 20seconds, Cliodhna (P2) got 5. Aoibhinn (P2) really enjoyed this challenge and the competition was fierce with her older brothers also having a go. There was a lot of debate over the fairness of longer arms and whether or not longer arms should mean that her brothers should have a smaller target or they should be throwing from a further away distance! Her mum had to be the adjudicator and her decision was final. Aoibhinn's score was 9 in the bucket🎉.
Ethan (P7) and Chloe (P7) had great fun trying this although they are convinced that Mrs Gibson has obviously been practicing for a long time and it wasn't her 1st try! Chloe managed 8 socks and Ethan managed 4 socks. Daithi (P5) and Callie (Nursery) loved this challenge as well. Daithi achieved a score of 10 socks and Callie achieved a score of 7 socks. Leah (Nursery) got her family involved and she successfully got 9 in 20seconds. Ben (P5) managed to get 10 and Ethan (P1) got 6 in his bucket. Belle (P1) got her brother and her mum involved. Her mum is very happy as she managed to beat Mrs Gibson's with a score of 18.
Finally for now Kian (P6) got 12 earlier but Niamh (p4) has the highest score achieved so far today as she smashed it with 19. Well done Niamh, that will be a hard score to beat
