Music Bugs visit our Nursery!
16th Dec 2024
What a start to our last week of nursery before Christmas! Rachel from Music Bugs visited us today and we had so much fun. She had lots planned for us to do. We started off by getting a mat each to sit on. We picked an instrument. We sang the Music Bugs Hello Song. We then used our instruments to sing We Wish you a Merry Christmas. The next one was Santa got stuck up the Chimney. We had lots of actions for this one! Next, Rachel brought out some blue material which we all had to hold. Then, there were five naughty elves who kept jumping right up into the air! After that, Rachel gave each of us our own Incy Wincy Spider to help us sing the song. The next props were brightly coloured pom-poms which we used for When the Music Stops. We had to have our listening ears on to know when to stop shaking them. Rachel used a bubble machine and we pretended the bubbles were snowflakes. We were very good at catching them all and by the time the song It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas was over, they were all gone! We had the parachute out for Santa Claus is coming to Town. When we were all holding it tight, Rachel threw lots of balls on to it. They were bouncing everywhere! We used instruments again for Jingle Bells. Our last song was the Music Bugs Goodbye Song. Rachel was so impressed with all the boys and girls that she gave them special stickers. We really enjoyed this session today. Thank you Rachel and Music Bugs for spreading a lot of Christmas cheer to the boys and girls!
