Yesterday P1 were lucky to have a new teacher, Miss Doherty. She took to the role like a duck to water! After sorting the dinners, Miss Doherty sang good morning to the class and said the morning prayer. She chose the activities for play in the morning and helped children with their work on o'clock. After break she took small groups of children for their reading, helped to teach the class all about doubles and attended a staff meeting. Miss Doherty sat with the class at assembly after lunch and made sure everyone was ready to listen to Mr Sims, our principal for the day. Miss Doherty says that she really enjoyed being teacher for the day and wants to be a teacher when she grows up.
