P2 got off to a great start on Monday with New Year Promises. There were promises of helping to do some cleaning, helping elderly grandparents, saying prayers and working hard in school!
We’ve been working on multi-syllables at Stage 3 in Linguistic Phonics, putting final touches to Space topic work and today we had a blast with outdoor learning. We discovered all sorts of effects from the cold weather and freezing temperatures. We found patterns on the frosty leaves and water trays and lots of interesting shapes made from ice- including a boomerang! Our sandpit was frozen solid and we realised that the wee birds would need some help with finding food.
