Today, we had a special day out. The boys and girls got dropped off at the library where we were met by Shona and Louise. They had lots of Christmas activities planned for us! We played a guessing game. We did some rhymes and songs. They were very impressed when we knew the words to When Santa got stuck up the Chimney and Jingle Bells! We all stood up to do the Reindeer Hokey Cokey which was so much fun! We listened to a story all about the Christmas Tree Mouse. Shona and Louise gave us instruments for a Christmas version of The Wheels on the Bus. We played some games too. We were blindfolded for Pin the Nose on Rudolph or the Snowman. Some of us had a go at matching up some Christmas pictures that had got all mixed up. We had lots of fun. Thank you to both ladies for all the organisation. We left the library and held on tightly to our walking rope. We made our way to the square to see the tree and the crib. We wished anyone that we passed a very happy Christmas and got lots of waves along the way! After all that walking, we were ready for our snack so we headed to Café Therese. We were treated to some yummy toast, pancakes, biscuits and juice. Thank you to everyone in the café for looking after us! We had a great time on our Christmas outing!
