We have to say a huge thank you to the mums who came out today to help us with our Spring planting. The children had so much fun getting their hands dirty and seeing their playground looking so much nicer already. They got to take home a sunflower seed that they had planted and we look forward to seeing more of their seeds and bulbs grow as the days and weeks go on. We also learnt about the life cycle of a sunflower in class to tie in with our topic and watched a time-lapse video of a sunflower growing. We thought it was beautiful that new flowers grew from the flower that had died. Again, another thank you for all the help and donations of seeds, bulbs and compost. It was a lovely atmosphere and the children had such a great day.
