Today was the perfect weather for our topic of Winter. ❄️ It may have taken longer getting into school on the slippy roads but it was worth it for the learning and fun we all had. In the morning we took part in so many activities like playing in the cold, blue water with ice cubes and sponges as well as our camping role play, white play doh, cold lands small world play and a winter themed writing table. After break, we just had to go out and explore the wintery weather using our senses. We looked at the changes around us, we felt the crunchy and cold frost, we heard the hard sound as we walked and our noses were too numb to smell! We even got to see how the salt had helped to melt the ice so we have some great ideas for experimenting in the next few weeks. Now all we need is snow! 🌨️☃️
