Today as part of our Literacy, we watched a video which gave us instructions on how to play hopscotch. We watched the video and then worked together to list the equipment that we would need and make sure that we knew the order of the instructions when playing the game. Then we went outside and got into groups of 3. We began by drawing out the game on the ground. This was trickier than we had realised! Once we had the grid drawn, each group got a chance to play the game, remembering the instructions we had listened to on the video. What a great start to learning Instructional Writing!
