P3 STEM week gets off to a flying start
19th Mar 2019
Today the children were given lots of letter shapes and number shapes made out of card and given the challenge of folding them in order to make them fly. Lots of different methods were tried. We thought that making a paper aeroplane shape would be best, to have wings and a point, but in fact the most effective way to give them distance was to fold them lots of times to make them small and thick, adding weight to them. It was great fun being allowed to throw things in the classroom for a change!
